Today I'll comment an article in the net about TIGERS!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiger_Temple

I don't like the TIGER branded biscuts but I DO LOVE TIGERS!! I'm a fan of this particular cat species since I petted a cat..
I wondered to myself at that time, maybe 6 years old? I was petting a cat (a big fatty one I suppose) and I said these word out
loud in my mind, "I want a bigger cat!!! Then I really saw some in the television, is was a really gorgeous orange in color and its size was
bigger that a normal adult, I want it as a pet!!! Too bad it was the carnivourous type, it might eat me even before I got the chance to touch it!!
Aww too bad..

But my dream to actually pet a tiger is almost near to me especially when I've read this article. If you read along the paragraphs, the temple actually
allows the visitors to get near the tigers and pet them!!

Sadly I think, the tigers in my opinion was not treated according to their natural habits, the monks fed them with cooked meats, and some rumours that there's
some kind off illegal smuggling happening around...

That's all for my article review..

p/s: Do tell me if this is not enough, I'll try my best to eloborate more on my next post

Since I like to read on the latest hottest celebrity news, I would like to comment on Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's newest addition to the brood, the birth of the twins Knox Leon and Viviene Marcheline. Before the twins, This couple already has 3 adopted children and a biological daughter. You must be thinking why I commented on these, eventhough Angelina is known to be a home breaker for stealing Brad Pitt from jennifer Aniston, but I do not look into that but her humanitarian works she has done especially in the Third World country has really inspired me to follow into her footsteps. By adopting this underprivileged children, she actually has given that child a better life and also a better future. Her family also could be considered as Mini United Nation because her 3 adopted children comes from different ethnicities namely Cambodian, Vietnamese and also Ethiopian. From her I learnt that in every person there is a certain degree of goodness in everyone no matter how bad they are.

As i was wondering to what should I read on so that I can do my reading review, I came across a heading that entitled " Rare Mummy found with strange artifacts" i immediately clicked on that topic. For your information I've always liked anything that's got to do with mummies. There is just a mystery surrounding them that makes me intrigued. From what I've read, it is said that the mummy was found in an ancient town of Rontoy. The mummy was nicknamed 'Kiko Rontoy' by the archaeologist who found it. The mummy was found disemboweled and placed in layers of cotton and wooden textiles to aid his preservation. With the mummy also the archaeologist found offerings of abundant corn, a necklace of silver metal beads, wooden figurine that are thought to be signs of the individual's high rank. So what can i learn from this article, well I think with the disovery of this mummy, The archaeologist could examine and study this mummy thoroughly and from the examinations of this mummy maybe we could gain some knowledge on how does the ancient Peru people live back in those days. Besides that, the new generation of the Peruvian people can be proud of their unique heritage.

Today, i have reading a news from "The Star", page of N29. The title is "Cameran's blooms to cost".
It is talking about the price of Cameran Highland flowers will go up by 10% from August 08'. It give a attractive to me. It is because i want to know that the increase is cause by increase of petrol or not? Here,it noted that the last time they increased the price of flowers was December 2004 and the price of raw materials has increase by between 40% and 50% last year. So, they have no choice. After knowing the reason, i can accept it.
Nevertheless, the price of everything is go up. The money is not enough to use. It is reality and inevitable. We can't change it. So, i think we should cut down on unnecessary expenses to save the money for future.

i just done reading an article about enhancing your presentation skill...
its kind a interesting..i spend almost half an hour to read it..
i'll show you one part only hahah...want more? find it yourself..
dont be such a lazy lah....
here it is::::::
Improving your pronunciation is a large task that can't possibly be tackled in a day. If you are really serious about improving, it will take some practice over time. Here are three fun ways you can improve your pronunciation and become a better speaker.
1. Watch TV
Yes, I'm really telling you to become a couch potato! The first step to improving your pronunciation is training your ear to hear the difference between different sounds. If you can't hear the difference between the vowel sound in man and the vowel sound in men, you will have a very tough time producing these sounds on your own.
It would be best to watch quality television like the news on BBC or CNN (depending on the accent you prefer) instead of sitcoms and movies, for example. Although not always perfect, this is about the closest you'll get to the most accepted standard pronunciation in British or American English.
As you watch TV, be sure that you pay very close attention to how the words are pronounced. If you watch both stations, see if you can pick up on some of the pronunciation differences between British and American English.
2. Get tongue-tied
Tongue twisters are a challenging and fun way to practice pronunciation and increase the clarity of your speech. It may just seem like play, but many stage actors, speakers and voice-over artists will attest to the power of warming up their lips, tongue and jaw by practicing these tricky twisters!
Here are just a few examples. Practice the tongue twisters that include sounds that are hard for you to pronounce. Start slowly, and then try to gradually speed up and add repetitions.
i & ee:

-I slit the sheet, the sheet I slit, and on the slitted sheet I sit.
s & sh:

-Sally sells sea shells by the sea shore.

-Shy Shelly says she shall sew sheets.
l & r:

-Red lorry, yellow lorry, red lorry, yellow lorry.

-There are four pilots on the flight deck.

-River Valley Road

-A flea and a fly flew up in a flue. Said the flea, "Let us fly!" Said the fly, "Let us flee!" So they flew through a flaw in the flue.
th, d & t:

-Lesser leather never weathered, wetter weather better.

-Thank the other three brothers on their father's mother's brother's side.

-Tim, the thin twin tinsmith.
3. Practice minimal pairs
Minimal pairs are words that are identical except for the one problem sound you are focused on practicing. For example, if you have trouble with the sounds /r/ and /l/ you might practice reading a list of words like read/lead, road/load, fry/fly, fright/flight, crutch/clutch and so on. Slowly say these words out loud and really focus on the sounds and the way you use your voice. Here are some helpful hints to practicing minimal pairs:
- Say the words in a mirror. Exaggerate your facial expressions. Watch your tongue, lips and jaw, and note the differences when you make the sounds. Don't worry if you look a little strange at first! As your mouth learns how to make the sounds correctly, you won't have to make such weird faces to produce the correct sound.
- Record yourself saying the pairs. Listen to the recording and see if you can hear a difference between how you pronounce the words.
- Choose one word from each pair and say them out loud to a friend. Have your friend write down the words he/she hears. See if your friend heard the words you were trying to say. (You can also do this on your own by noting the words you choose as you record yourself saying them. Listen to the recording a few days later and write down the words you hear. Compare your list to the list of words you recorded.)
Taking time to practice your pronunciation is vital if you are to reach your goal of improving the clarity of your speech. Be patient with yourself! This process takes time, but the pay-offs will definitely be worth it.

Today, i wanna talk about the article in news strait times on monday, August 4, 2008 at 9.16a.m.

The article is talk about medical tourist coming to Malaysia in thousands.

A survey conducted by the Association of Private Hospitals of Malaysia found that the number of foreign patients seeking treatment in Malaysia had increased greatly over the years.

The country's popularity as a healthcare destination is due to the fact that it offers health care at competitive rates, compared with many developed countries.

Malaysian hospitals have also invested in world-class equipment and secured the services of medical personnel and specialists who received their training in countries such as Britain, Australia and the United States.

In conclusion, i think as a Malaysian, we should promote our country aggressively in order to competenwith other country in tourism..

Thanks..

FREEDOM! BEAUTY! ATRACTIVE!

Wondering what am i talking about? Well, visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterfly#In_culture to discover an amazing insect, BUTTERFLY! You can find many interesting informations about this beautiful insect.

Butterflies have been used in artistic depictions in many cultures including Egyptian hieroglyphics 3500 years ago.

Butterflies also used as symbols in some culture. For example, one Japanese superstition says that if a butterfly enters your guest room and perches behind the bamboo screen, the person whom you most love is coming to see you. In Chinese culture two butterflies flying together are a symbol of love. Interesting, isn't it?

In some old cultures, butterflies also symbolize rebirth into a new life after being inside a cocoon for a period of time.
Some people say that when a butterfly lands on you it means good luck.

I guess all of us should visit a butterfly park especilly before our final exams to get good luck! Hehe=p

There are many more interesting informations that you can get from this webpage. So, what you waiting for? Lets READ and have fun!!!

Thank you.

Today, i will give the comment to a news "Goverment all out to improve public transport system" from "The Star", page of N14. The goverment is encourage more people to use public transport. Goverment also will take the step to improve the public transport system. It will amend many outdated laws and ordinances, upgrade the quality of service and improve transport operator profit. The goverment also will listen the aspiration of people and translate that to action by amending some of the current administrative rules.
In my point of view, i think this is a good planning. It will bring many advantage to people. Nowaday, the price of everything is go up. It increase the expenses of life. So, It is a good step to save money to reduce our expenses and burden. Actually, this planning is need the co-operation between goverment and nationality. Although the system has improvement, but nationality are not support or not use the public transport, the planning also will not successful.

Good morning everyone here I am again!

Today I would like to comment on an article entitled "Humanizing the Beijing ticket scam"
By Pat Imig at yahoo headlines recently:
http://sports.yahoo.com/olympics/beijing/blog/fourth_place_medal/post/Humanizing-the-Beijing-ticket-scam?urn=oly,98646

I am soo sad for the victims who were scammed through buying tiket to watch Beijing Olympics Game 2008 online, as you can read by yourself through this article, these buyers were soo eager to watch their children (especially) competing for the olympics game. Knowing that they prepared for weeks just to buy these "scammed" tickets makes it more sympathetic to me. And to make it worse, this "inhuman" activities was (and maybe still ongoing) done by the legitimate operation, as this article said. *shakes head*

My own lesson learned from this, NEVER TRUST ONLINE BUYING!! Being too advance in such technology dosen't make your life easier...

Good morning everyone, its almost noon by the way. Today I'll be commenting about "Baby born to surrogate Indian mother in legal limbo" by Sangeeta Sharma at yahoo homepage, here> http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20080806/ts_afp/indiajapanbabysurrogacyadoptionlaw.

Hmm, once again this is all about the bad effects of advance technology espcially in medical aspect, this time the victim is a 12 days old baby who's in the "surface" has no parents although her soo called parents are still alive. To be honest I'm really upset and a bit angry by this situation, this article seems to show us how it is easy to make a child, regardless of ethics, moral and common sense. And my personal view to the egg donor who carry the child, SHAME ON YOU because you just almost destroy the future of a living thing (please delete this if its inappropriate), well I said "almost" because this case is still ongoing, and the whole story is not soo clear to me.

To conclude, my advise to those who want to donate for the sake of making other family happy by giving your egg/sperm, CHANGE YOUR MIND before its too late, there's bigger punishment for you in the end of your life, I really mean it..

Today, i reading a newspaper again. I will comment about the news "Drama at school fire drill", from "The Star", page of N3. It is a interesting news. It talking about a from three student climbed onto the roof of a bridge link and refused to come down. The fireman and police are remain on standby. And the boy agreed to climb down when the police and fireman are leave. But when the police went back to the classroom to look for him, he was started to run. Finally, the police caught hold of him and took him to hospital. After reading the news, i have many question. Why the boy will do that and what problem with him?

Nowadays, the teenager has many problem. The majority is cause by influence of friend or lack of family's love. Someone of them will do some action to make a attention from their family or friends to them. In my opinion, i think they need to communicate with family to share their problem. Make a conversation with counsellor to get some instruction or advise to overcome their problem. They cannot do some danger action to make attention from somebody. It only will increase the problem. i just done reading an article about the WHITE AMUR TIGER..
this kind of tiger can be list as a mythical creature on earth as the existence of pure white amur tiger has not been scientifically proven despite occasional reports of sightings of white tigers in th regions where wild siberian tigers live. From what i read,it is quite possible that the gene for white coating does not exist in the siberian tigers population..
the wild siberian tigers population was nearly extincnt during the middle of 20th century.
the famous white siberian tiger in captivity are actually not the pure one.
It is actuallty a result of siberian tigers breeding with bengal tigers from india.
a white tiger is considered a mutant variant of the tiger subspecies.
the estimation of wild tigers births resulting in a white tiger is 1 to 10,000.
well..
beside the loch ness monster,
the extra terrestrials, the yetis of tibetan...there were other mythical animal that not yet been discover but the possibility is there.
READ MORE ABOUT IT IN WWW.TIGERHOMES.ORG
well thats all for now..
i'll come back with another story of the mythical BLACK TIGER..

as..... today read about waterfall in kedah.now i want to share with u all .....
Kedah state begins with its eastern boundary demarcated by the Main Range. The steep hills END rather quickly and the terrain changes into lowlands. Then, among the wide lowland plain at one spot beside the sea coast, a massive Gunong Jerai suddenly makes its presence felt. In the sparsely populated highland areas, many river sources are left intact including the 'original' waterfalls
The state is literally littered with waterfalls, only a couple of the larger ones have been developed as well visited picnic spots.

if you all want to visit kedah waterfall, just call me n i will bring you around this place.....

Now in the midst of the Beijing 2008, I think all you people would like to know about the Olympics Emblem, the mascots,Olympics Creed, olympics pillar and also the motto.
Well, most of us know that the Olympics Emblem is composed of five interlocking rings (blue, yellow, black, green and red respectively)on a white field. This was originally designed in 1913 by Baron Pierre de Boutin, the founder of the modern Olympics.
These five rings stands for passion, faith, victory, work ethic and sportmanship. These five rings also represent the five parts of the world which now are won over to Olympism and willing to accept healthy competition.
The mascots for Beijing 2008 comprise of the 5 common animals found in beijing which are giant panda, a fish,Olympic fleume, Tibetan antelope and swallow. The five names of the mascots or the Fuwa's(Beibei,Jingjing,Huanhuan, Yingying, Nini)form Chinese phrase "Beijing huan ying ni" which means "Beijing welcomes you".
Then, the Olympics motto is in Latin, "Citius, Altius, Fortius" which means "Faster, Higher, Stronger". As for the Olympic creed, it sounds like this; "The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not to triumph but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well". And finally, the three Olympic Pillars are sport, environment and culture.
I think it is important for us to know this to broaden our general knowledge and I think Olympic is good way to bring people from all over the world from different race and religion to interact in a healthy way. Today, i am reading a composition from "Model compositions and summaries for SPM 1119 English ". The title is "the benefits of exercise". It noted that regular exercise can prevent obesity and weight-related problem. Besides that, it also can improve blood circulation. For a man, they can exercise to develop their muscles. Actually, exercise is very useful to a worker and student to abolish modern day stress. The increasing pressure of work or study always makes their awake at night. Exercise can make a person be more relaxed and have a good night's sleep. So, they can feel cheerful and refreshed on next days.
But, exercise is so difficult to me. This also is a big challenge to me. It is because i am a lazy person. I can not wake up early to exercise and better use a few hours to sleep. But exercise is really bringing many benefits to us. Maybe i want to change my attitude to exercise and be more health, strong and not be a "tau fu" again. PB08044

today i would like to share with you about what i read..
i was reading about computer virus..
A computer virus is a computer program that can copy itself and infect a computer without permission or knowledge of the user...
A virus can only spread from one computer to another when its host is taken to the uninfected computer, for instance by a user sending it over a network or the Internet, or by carrying it on a floppy disk, CD, or USB drive...
Viruses are sometimes confused with computer worms and Trojan horses.A worm can spread itself to other computers without needing to be transferred as part of a host, and a Trojan horse is a file that appears harmless. it's may cause harm to either a computer system's hosted data, functional performance, or networking throughput.
so...
in my opinion..
virus is one of the thing can damage our desktop or laptop...
to protect our computer from virus...i suggest you all can use spyware programs and registry processors...
thats all...

At the same time i would like to comments and also to share articles about "GUIDE TO FEMALE HAIR LOSS". This articles mentioned that hair loss usually occurs because of hormonal factors. As a consequence, biological events like puberty, pregnancy and menopause levels can also cause female hair loss. In the case of pregnancy, hair loss is simply a consequence of the stress the body undergoes during labour and should stop approxiamately 6 months after birth. Discontinuation of taking birth control pills can also cause temporary female hair loss. Therefore, this information is important and very usefull for us to know more details and to gain knowledge as well. Thats all. (www.healthatoz.com)

Living with Dialysis. That is the title of an article that i will comment about.

What does this main heading tells us? Well, living with Dialysis simply means that the current situation of kidney patients in Malaysia. It is alarming to know that it is estimated that the number of dialysis patients worlwide has increase by 7% per annum.
Now living with dialysis is a new way of life completely, whereby this affected person will lead a completely different way of life unlike a normal person. This kidney patient has to use this dialysis machine to cleanse their blood from the waste or toxic that is accumulated in their blood. A patient has to go for dialysis three times per week, which means 13 times per month.
Each dialysis coasts around RM250 at private hospitals,so this will amount to about RM3250 per month.
As for the patient it is a very long journey to endeavour because among family and friends they feel isolated and a burden to everyone.
Depression will be also a constant companion. Apart from the emotional upheavel, the patient has to go through physical agony.
Besides that, side effects of dialysis include sleep disorders, dry skin, cramps, nausea, vomiting, headaches and etc.
So, the lesson here is to lead a healthy lifestyle - healthy eating, exercising and maintaining a healthy body weight.

If anyone of you who are interested to know more about this matter please do not hesitate to read this article in HealthToday the July edition.

The theme for today is health. Specifically involving the topic of infertility.
First of all. infertility is commonly defined as a failure to conceive after one year of frequent, unprotected sexual intercourse.
As an overview, according to Dr Collin lee, an obstetrician and also gynaecologist and President of The Malaysian society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, says it is estimated that during the first year of marriage, about 20% of Malaysian couples will experience infertility, but that figure drops to 10% during the second year. This estimation is based on the number of women who get pregnant in their second yesr of marriage.
Another interesting fact is that infertility is a bigger issue in developed nations that it is in underdeveloped ones.
This is so, because generally people in urban areas are more career - oriented and tend to delay marriage and children untill they are more established in their careers.
Another subject that is really closely related to infertility is contraception.
They are many views on contraception but mostly negative. But, according to Dr Collin contraception does not affect fertility in a negative way. For Example oral contraception can delay, minimise or prevent endometriosis. As endometriosis is a leading cause of fertility problems, being on oral contraception can prevent the occurence of endometriosis and thus indirectly promote fertility.
Hopefully what i've put in this blog has change our perception towards contraception.

Do you feel embarrased when you notice that your teeth is not white as you expected eventhough you have brush many times and as hard as you could?
Ever wondering what are the causes of these tooth discolouration?
As a matter of fact, there are two factors that cause tooth discolouration: internal and external.
In external factors it is divided into two namely smoking or drinking beverages containing caffeine and also inadequate dental hygiene.
The chemicals found in cigarette and also in coffee can cause brown- black stains on the surface of the teeth. Nicotine and food colouring are absorbed by the tooth surface, causing stains. So, in the effort to get pearly white teeth, cut down your coffee and tea intake and also stop smoking.
Besides that, yellowish stains on the surface of teeth are most likely caused by inadequate cleaning. The accumulated plaque can absorbed food colouring, resultingh in stains.
Apart from these causes, categorized in the internal factors are dental caries, excessive flouride and also poor tooth shape.
Dental caries or tooth decay occurs as a result of both poor dental hygiene and a diet rich in things that damage teeth such as sweets and fizzy drinks.
Next, is excessive flouride . Long-term and excessive ingestion of flouride in drinking water and toothpaste may also alter the development of tooth enamel, resulting in white patches on teeth.
Last but not least, stains caused by abnormal tooth development or dental flourosis can be treated by bleaching, fillings, laminate veneers or crowning.
Now, why don't we start to follow this tips in order to get those pearly white teeth. Now we could create a better world where when everyone is smilling, those shining teeth are displayed.

To get more details please refer to HealthToday magazine the July Edition.

MAKE LOVE, NOT WAR!!!
This title really caught my attention this morning. To me, the title means something naughthy. Hehe=p Ok, ok. But this article is actually all about the wars that are happening all around the world now. Until now, 36 wars are going on. This is all because most of us think that violent can solve everything. And we do not think properly before we act. This article also mention that we, the future leaders should change this tradition. As for me, I totally agree with the author. War will not change anything except for the number of people on Earth. War is only a solution for those who are brainless or for those who are coward but trying hard to prove to the world that they are great. I really do not understand why the nation's leader are so irrasional when making a major decision ike this. And I strongly hope that we the future leaders will be ten times or even million times better leaders than the leaders now. I really do not want the innocent people especially the poor young children to be the victims of some idiots. Im sorry to use harsh words but thats what they are! So, lets all of us together work for a better world in the very near future. No WAR! Only PEACE!!!

Judging from nowadays trend, where more and more teenagers are influenced by the hip hop culture.
So, i decided to read on to get an idea what is actually hip hop culture.
From what I've read i understood that rapping is one of hip hop elements. Rapping is the way of speaking rhythmically following the music which has been "breaked" the term used by DJs in producing music. This music genre was originally came from the Bronx, New york where at first the crowds who really give this music a place in the music industry were the African american youth and also the Latino youth.
Basically the lyrics of this music mostly is a message of dissatisfaction, anger and the words is mostly vulgar.
Besides the music, we could see this hip hop influence through fashion.
This hip hop fashion is very popular among teenagers and also youth from all over the world not only in the United States.
Among the popular clothing that were worn by hip hoppers are, baseball caps, Big oversized athletic T-shirt, branded sneakers and also huge oversize jeans or pants.
Apart from that, hip hop culture includes breakdancing and also grafitti. Breakdancing is a type of streetdance that is really complicated with many difficult body movements. not an ordinary person can perform brekdancing because this form of dancing needs persistence in practising and also the agility of the body to perform certain dance routine.
As for grafitti, it is drawing on the wall using spray. Grafitti is actually a beautiful work of art where many different colours are blended in order to produce the desired colour. The message behind this drawing again is manifestation of their feelings which of course dissatisfaction, anger, unjustice and other negative feelings.
Originally, this culture is only popular towards a smaller group of people but now it has become a worldwide trend where all teenagers idolise if not is picking up this culture. But, what is so unique about this culture. Maybe because of the uniqueness, or the freedom of whoever to follow this trend and also there is a cool factor that is surrounding this culture. No matter what, it is our decision to follow whichever culture or beliefs that we choose or prefer, but bear in mind that whatever we do, it must not bring bad effects to ourselves, family, our race, our religion and most importantly our country.

Does education pays more? This main heading really caught my attention while I was browsing through the net looking for the materials to read for blog entry.
In the article, it is mentioned that it is true that the more education you get, the more pay you will get. So, here again our parents is always right when they say this, " with education you can go ahead easily".
According to this article, a survey has been carried out and the findings justifies again the statement where a degree holder earns around 50% more than just high school degree holder and the pays will increased significantly if this person continues to pursue his or her studies in Masters and also PHD.
From a real life experience, education does not only give financial stability but highly educated individual has been exposed to things that they never exposed during their chilhood.
Well, it is worth paying back our study loans for our future, don't you think? That is why we must take every chances to improve ourselves through education. No matter how hard at first for us to strive for our success in our education, but in the end we are also the one who will taste the sweet taste of success.

Shampoo is a hair care product used for the removal of oils, dirt, skin particles, dandruff, environmental pollutants and other contaminant particles that gradually build up in hair. The goal is to remove the unwanted build-up without stripping out so much as to make hair unmanageable.

Shampoo, when lathered with water, is a surfactant, which, while cleaning the hair and scalp, can remove the natural oils (sebum) which lubricate the hair shaft.

Shampooing is frequently followed by conditioners which increase the ease of combing and styling.

fashion which it is refers to styles of dress (but can also include cuisine, literature, art, architecture, and general comportment) that are popular in a culture at any given time. Such styles may change quickly, and "fashion" in the more effective sense refers to the latest version of these styles. Inherent in the term is the idea that the mode will change more quickly than the culture as a whole. That all about my reading on fashion.

Today, i would share with you about "smile"

In physiology, a smile is a facial expression formed by flexing those muscles most notably near both ends of the mouth. The smile can also be found around the eyes (See 'Duchenne smile' below). Among humans, it is customarily an expression denoting pleasure, happiness, or amusement, but can also be an involuntary expression of anxiety, in which case it can be known as a grimace. There is much evidence that smiling is a normal reaction to certain stimuli as it occurs regardless of culture. Happiness is most often the motivating cause of a smile. Among animals, the exposure of teeth, which may bear a resemblance to a smile, is often used as a threat or warning display - known as a snarl - or a sign of submission. In chimpanzees, it can also be a sign of fear. The study of smiles is a part of gelotology, psychology, and linguistics, comprising various theories of affect, humor, and laughter.

So, smile always..

Wanna know what is Bluetooth?

Bluetooth is a wireless protocol utilizing short-range communications technology facilitating data transmission over short distances from fixed and/or mobile devices, creating wireless personal area networks (PANs). The intent behind the development of Bluetooth was the creation of a single digital wireless protocol, capable of connecting multiple devices and overcoming problems arising from synchronization of these devices. Bluetooth uses a radio technology called frequency hopping spread spectrum. It chops up the data being sent and transmits chunks of it on up to 75 different frequencies. In its basic mode, the modulation is Gaussian frequency shift keying (GFSK).It can achieve a gross data rate of 1 Mb/s.Bluetooth provides a way to connect and exchange information between devices such as mobile phones, telephones, laptops, personalcomputers, printers,GPS receivers, digital cameras, and video game consoles over a secure, globally unlicensed Industrial, Scientific, and Medical (ISM) 2.4 GHz short-range radio frequency bandwidth. The Bluetooth specifications are developed and licensed by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG).The Bluetooth SIG consists of companies in the areas of telecommunication, computing, networking, and consumer electronics. In order to use Bluetooth,a device must be compatible with certain Bluetooth profiles. These define the possible applications and uses of the technology. But beware as your phone,PC and every thing which have bluetooth may be affected with VIRUS!so users think what you need to do

Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun in our solar system. It is named after the Roman god of war Mars (Ares in Greek mythology) because of its apparent red color. This feature also earned it the nickname "The Red Planet". The prefix areo- refers to Mars in the same way geo- refers to Earth. The astronomical symbol for Mars is ♂, a circle with an arrow pointing northeast. The Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese cultures refer to the planet as 火星, or fire star. Mars is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere, having surface features such as craters, giant valleys, and volcanoes. Of all the planets in our Solar System other than Earth, Mars is the most likely to harbor liquid water, and perhaps life. Mars is currently host to several orbiting spacecraft and two rovers, and most recently, a lander searching for water in the north polar region. It has two moons, Phobos and Deimos, which are small and oddly-shaped, possibly being captured asteroids.

The Apollo program was designed to land humans on the Moon and bring them safely back to Earth. Apollo 1 ended tragically when all the astronauts inside died due to fire in the command module during an experimental simulation. Because of this incident, there were a few unmanned tests before men boarded the spacecraft. Apollo 8 and Apollo 10 tested various components while orbiting the Moon, and returned photographs. On July 20, 1969, Apollo 11, landed the first men on the moon, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. Apollo 13 did not land on the Moon due to a malfunction, but did return photographs. The six missions that landed on the Moon returned a wealth of scientific data and almost 400 kilograms of lunar samples. Experiments included soil mechanics, meteoroids, seismic, heat flow, lunar ranging, magnetic fields, and solar wind experiments

MY READING AGAIN..

This time I'd like to share you all about FINGERPRINTING.A fingerprint is an impression of the friction ridges of all or any part of the finger.A friction ridge is a raised portion of the epidermis on the palm or digits (fingers and toes) or plantar (sole) skin, consisting of one or more connected ridge units of friction ridge skin. These ridges are sometimes known as "dermal ridges" or "dermal papillae".

Fingerprints may be deposited in natural secretions from the eccrine glands present in friction ridge skin (secretions consisting primarily of water) or they may be made by ink or other contaminants transferred from the peaks of friction skin ridges to a relatively smooth surface such as a fingerprint card. The term fingerprint normally refers to impressions transferred from the pad on the last joint of fingers and thumbs, though fingerprint cards also typically record portions of lower joint areas of the fingers (which are also used to make identifications).

ARE YOU IN OBESITY??? Check it out..!! Here's the fact of OBESITY
Obesity is a condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to such an extent that health may be negatively affected.[1] It is commonly defined as a body mass index (BMI = weight divided by height squared) of 30 kg/m2 or higher.[1] This distinguishes it from being overweight as defined by a BMI of between 25–29.9 kg/m2.[1]

Excessive body weight is associated with various diseases, particularly cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus type 2, obstructive sleep apnea, certain types of cancer, and osteoarthritis.[2][3] As a result, obesity has been found to reduce life expectancy.[3] The primary treatment for obesity is dieting and physical exercise. If this fails, anti-obesity drugs and (in severe cases) bariatric surgery can be tried.[2][4]

Obesity arises from too much energy intake compared with a person's basal metabolic rate and level of physical exercise. Excessive caloric intake and a lack of physical activity in genetically susceptible individuals is thought to explain most cases of obesity, with purely genetic, medical, or psychiatric illness contributing to only a limited number of cases. With rates of adult and childhood obesity increasing, authorities view it as a serious public health problem.[4]

Although obesity is often stigmatized in the modern Western world, it has been perceived as a symbol of wealth and fertility at other times in history

Radiative zone
From about 0.2 to about 0.7 solar radii, solar material is hot and dense enough that thermal radiation is sufficient to transfer the intense heat of the core outward. In this zone there is no thermal convection; while the material grows cooler as altitude increases, this temperature gradient is less than the value of adiabatic lapse rate and hence cannot drive convection. Heat is transferred by radiation—ions of hydrogen and helium emit photons, which travel a brief distance before being reabsorbed by other ions. In this way energy makes its way very slowly (see above) outward.

Between the radiative zone and the convection zone is a transition layer called the tachocline. This is a region where the sharp regime change between the uniform rotation of the radiative zone and the differential rotation of the convection zone results in a large shear

Reflector eyes
An alternative to a lens is to line the inside of the eye with " mirrors", and reflect the image to focus at a central point.[1] The nature of these eyes means that if one were to peer into the pupil of an eye, one would see the same image that the organism would see, reflected back out.[1]

Many small organisms such as rotifers, copeopods and platyhelminths use such organs, but these are too small to produce usable images.[1] Some larger organisms, such as scallops, also use reflector eyes. The scallop Pecten has up to 100 millimeter-scale reflector eyes fringing the edge of its shell. It detects moving objects as they pass successive lenses.

my article i read,
Superposition eyes
The second type is named the superposition eye. The superposition eye is divided into three types; the refracting, the reflecting and the parabolic superposition eye. The refracting superposition eye has a gap between the lens and the rhabdom, and no side wall. Each lens takes light at an angle to its axis and reflects it to the same angle on the other side. The result is an image at half the radius of the eye, which is where the tips of the rhabdoms are. This kind is used mostly by nocturnal insects. In the parabolic superposition compound eye type, seen in arthropods such as mayflies, the parabolic surfaces of the inside of each facet focus light from a reflector to a sensor array. Long-bodied decapod crustaceans such as shrimp, prawns, crayfish and lobsters are alone in having reflecting superposition eyes, which also has a transparent gap but uses corner mirrors instead of lenses.

The oldest method of studying the brain is anatomical, and until the middle of the 20th century, much of the progress in Neuroscience came from the development of better stains and better microscopes. Much critical information about synaptic function has come from study of electron microscope images of synapses. On a larger scale, neuroanatomists have invented a plethora of stains that reveal neural structure, chemistry, and connectivity. In recent years, the development of immunostaining techniques has allowed staining of neurons that express specific sets of genes.

hai, today i want share article i read is, Hemoglobin

A bleeding fingerHemoglobin is the principal determinant of the color of blood in vertebrates. Each molecule has four heme groups, and their interaction with various molecules alters the exact color. In vertebrates and other hemoglobin-using creatures, arterial blood and capillary blood are bright red as oxygen imparts a strong red color to the heme group. Deoxygenated blood is a darker shade of red; this is present in veins, and can be seen during blood donation and when venous blood samples are taken. Blood in carbon monoxide poisoning is bright red, because carbon monoxide causes the formation of carboxyhemoglobin. In cyanide poisoning, the body cannot utilize oxygen, so the venous blood remains oxygenated, increasing the redness. While hemoglobin containing blood is never blue, there are several conditions and diseases where the color of the heme groups make the skin appear blue. If the heme is oxidized, methemoglobin, which is more brownish and cannot transport oxygen, is formed. In the rare condition sulfhemoglobinemia, arterial hemoglobin is partially oxygenated, and appears dark-red with a bluish hue (cyanosis)

now i want to share about artcle i read.this about Carbon monoxide poisoning
Substances other than oxygen can bind to hemoglobin; in some cases this can cause irreversible damage to the body. Carbon monoxide, for example, is extremely dangerous when carried to the blood via the lungs by inhalation, because carbon monoxide irreversibly binds to hemoglobin to form carboxyhemoglobin, so that less hemoglobin is free to bind oxygen, and less oxygen can be transported in the blood. This can cause suffocation insidiously. A fire burning in an enclosed room with poor ventilation presents a very dangerous hazard since it can create a build-up of carbon monoxide in the air. Some carbon monoxide binds to hemoglobin when smoking tobacco.

hai,i has new article to share with all. this about Enamel
Main article: Tooth enamel
Enamel is the hardest and most highly mineralized substance of the body and is one of the four major tissues which make up the tooth, along with dentin, cementum, and dental pulp. It is normally visible and must be supported by underlying dentin. Ninety-six percent of enamel consists of mineral, with water and organic material composing the rest. The normal color of enamel varies from light yellow to grayish white. At the edges of teeth where there is no dentin underlying the enamel, the color sometimes has a slightly blue tone. Since enamel is semitranslucent, the color of dentin and any restorative dental material underneath the enamel strongly affects the appearance of a tooth. Enamel varies in thickness over the surface of the tooth and is often thickest at the cusp, up to 2.5 mm, and thinnest at its border, which is seen clinically as the cementoenamel junction.

Enamel's primary mineral is hydroxyapatite, which is a crystalline calcium phosphate. The large amount of minerals in enamel accounts not only for its strength but also for its brittleness. Dentin, which is less mineralized and less brittle, compensates for enamel and is necessary as a support. Unlike dentin and bone, enamel does not contain collagen. Instead, it has two unique classes of proteins called amelogenins and enamelins. While the role of these proteins is not fully understood, it is believed that they aid in the development of enamel by serving as framework support among other functions.

ZILAWATI BINTI YUSOF
pb08060

HAI,NOW I WANT TO CONTINUE ARTLCIE ABOUT THOOT.THIS ARTICLE PART IS Dentin
Dentin is the substance between enamel or cementum and the pulp chamber. It is secreted by the odontoblasts of the dental pulp. The formation of dentin is known as dentinogenesis. The porous, yellow-hued material is made up of 70% inorganic materials, 20% organic materials, and 10% water by weight. Because it is softer than enamel, it decays more rapidly and is subject to severe cavities if not properly treated, but dentin still acts as a protective layer and supports the crown of the tooth.

Dentin is a mineralized connective tissue with an organic matrix of collagenous proteins. Dentin has microscopic channels, called dentinal tubules, which radiate outward through the dentin from the pulp cavity to the exterior cementum or enamel border. The diameter of these tubules range from 2.5 μm near the pulp, to 1.2 μm in the midportion, and 900 nm near the dentino-enamel junction. Although they may have tiny side-branches, the tubules do not intersect with each other. Their length is dictated by the radius of the tooth. The three dimensional configuration of the dentinal tubules is genetically determINED.

Universities in Malaysia have been urged to create a new co-curriculum to explain issues regarding the social contract which has often drawn the attention of various parties off late.

Umno vice president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said explaining the issues to the younger generation especially university students was important so as to avoid confusion.

“The important thing is not to question the social contract but to give an explanation so that they understand what the social contract is all about especially among the younger generation, because not all understand the social contract.

“Therefore, giving the explanation with proper methods and linking it with the country’s history is important,” he told reporters after delivering a lecture on Malay-Muslim Politics - Crisis and Solution at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) here today.

The lecture, organised by the Centre of Islamic Development Management Studies and Nurul Yaqeen Foundation, was attended USM students and lecturers.

Besides, he said, university lecturers should play a crucial role in giving the explanation.

“An effective explanation is important because when the students leave and mix around with the community, it will be easy for them to understand the concept of democracy and the constitution that we have,” said Muhyiddin who is International Trade and Industry Minister.

He said the social contract issues had been solved long ago and all parties should accept it. — BERNAMA

KUALA LUMPUR: A Perak MCA Youth delegate who had called for Umno Youth deputy chief Khairy Jamaluddin to be detained under the Internal Security Act for making racist statements is sticking to his guns.

Ting Tai Fook said he was only voicing what people had been saying about Khairy.

"Am I afraid he will take action against me, seeing how well-connected he is?

"I think he doesn't have a case against me, since what I said is nothing new," he said.

Ting also believed MCA Youth would back him up.

At the MCA Youth assembly on Friday, Ting called Khairy a "political loser" who should be booked under the ISA.

He also wanted former Umno Bukit Bendera division chief Datuk Ahmad Ismail to be held under the same act for describing Malaysian Chinese as pendatang (squatters).

He expressed disappointment with the detentions of Sin Chew Daily reporter Tan Hoon Cheng and Seputeh MP Teresa Kok, whom he claimed had done nothing offensive.

"However, people like Khairy and Ahmad can talk all they want and no action was taken against them.

"If we want to use the ISA, let's use it against these people first. Lock them up for two years, let them think through everything they say so they can realise how nonsensical and narrow-minded they are."

Ting said he was opposed to the ISA, which "should be thoroughly reviewed and measures put into place to avoid any abuse".

He said it was incomprehensible for Khairy to question the ratio of government scholarships for Bumiputeras and non-Bumiputeras.

"Already our gifted students are being turned away from many public universities. So, how could he question the scholarship quota?"

Ting said he believed Khairy would lose the race for the Umno Youth chief post at the party's elections in March.

"I believe this irresponsible leader will su dao tuo ku (be badly defeated) at the Umno elections.

"That will be the ultimate embarrassment for him, to see that he is rejected even by his own people.

"After that, may we never hear from such a political loser again."

Most traffic offenders issued with summonses pay the fine, in accordance with the law.

One man who was issued a summons for not displaying registration number plates and side mirrors on his motorcycle, took the law — or rather the lawman — into his own hands.

The errant motorcyclist and his friends assaulted traffic policeman Mohd Rizal Yahya when the latter was dining with his fiancee at a food stall in Batas Lintang, Simpang Empat here last night.

In the incident about 10.30pm, Mohd Rizal, of the Simpang Empat police station, sustained injuries on the face and left hand.

Two plastic chairs used by the assailants on the policeman were found broken.

Speaking to reporters at his home today, Mohd Rizal said he believed the incident was caused by the man’s dissatisfaction over the traffic summons issued to him on Oct 8.

He said prior to the incident, five men at a nearby table had called him over. One of them showed him the summons ticket and asked him to retract it.

“I told the man that once issued, the summons cannot be retracted,” added Mohd Rizal.

Upon hearing this, the policeman said, the men pounced on him, raining punches and hitting him with the plastic chairs before onlookers intervened, putting the assailants to flight.

Mohd Rizal said he lodged a report at the Simpang Empat police station before seeking outpatient treatment at a nearby clinic.

Meantime, Kangar police chief Supt Yusof Mohd Diah said that a man was detained in connection with Mohd Rizal’s assault. — BERNAMA

i have got the another story.it is about the famous actor and the one i admired is Jackie Chan.the true name is Chan Kong Sang, born on 7 April 1954) is an actor, action choreographer, film director, producer, martial artist, comedian, screenwriter, entrepreneur, singer and stunt performer from Hong Kong.

Chan is one of the best-known names worldwide in the areas of kung fu and action films. In his films, he is known for his acrobatic fighting style, comic timing, use of improvised weapons and innovative stunts. Jackie Chan has been acting since the 1970s and has appeared in over 100 films. Chan has received stars on the Hong Kong Avenue of Stars and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As a cultural icon, Chan has been referenced in various pop songs, cartoons and video games. Besides acting, Chan is a Cantopop and Mandopop star, having released a number of albums and sung many of the theme songs for the films in which he has starred. In 2008, Chan sang at the 2008 Summer Olympics closing ceremony.

what so special about him?he began his career from beginning. In 1976, Jackie Chan received a telegram from Willie Chan, a film producer in the Hong Kong film industry who had been impressed with Jackie's stuntwork. Willie Chan offered him an acting role in a film directed by Lo Wei. Lo had seen Chan's performance in the John Woo film Hand of Death (1976) and planned to model him after Bruce Lee with the film New Fist of Fury. His stage name was changed to Cheng Long (literally "become the dragon") to emphasise his similarity to Bruce Lee, whose stage name was Lei Siu Lung meaning "Little Dragon". The film was unsuccessful because Chan was not accustomed to Lee's martial arts style. Despite the film's failure, Lo Wei continued producing films with similar themes, resulting in little improvement at the box office.

Chan's first major breakthrough was the 1978 film Snake in the Eagle's Shadow, shot while he was loaned to Seasonal Film Corporation under a two-picture deal. Under director Yuen Woo Ping, Chan was allowed complete freedom over his stunt work. The film established the comedic kung fu genre, and proved to be a breath of fresh air for the Hong Kong audience.Chan then starred in Drunken Master, which finally propelled him to mainstream success.

Upon Chan's return to Lo Wei's studio, Lo tried to replicate the comedic approach of Drunken Master, producing Half a Loaf of Kung Fu and Spiritual Kung Fu.He also gave Chan the opportunity to co-direct Fearless Hyena with Kenneth Tsang. When Willie Chan left the company, he advised Jackie to decide for himself whether or not to stay with Lo Wei. During the shooting of Fearless Hyena Part II, Chan broke his contract and joined Golden Harvest, prompting Lo to blackmail Chan with triads, blaming Willie for his star's departure. The dispute was resolved with the help of fellow actor and director Jimmy Wang Yu, allowing Chan to stay with Golden Harvest.

so,that is Jackie Chan.

Wau-making is an ancient art inherited from the Melaka court who popularised the kite-flying sport. The art/skill is usually passed down from father to son. Kite-making requires tremendous skill and patience. First, they use split bamboo to make the frame of the kite. Then they cover the frame with tinted, shiny glazed paper. Intricate floral cutouts and designs are delicately pasted on this paper until the wau is ready for its final decoration of bright paper tassels. A bow-shaped device is attched to the neck of the kite - this will provide a pleasant, high-pitched humming sound when the kite is flown on the sky.
Wau-making has become a declining art in the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Occasionally, you may see small wau-making activities along the road of villages, but they are not as prevalent as they were two decades ago. Traditionally, after the harvesting of padi, the people will rejoice and take part in kite-flying sport, when farmers have spare time to decorate and fly these waus. Today, this event also happens in conjunction with the royal birthday celebrations. Kite flying competitions are often held in Terengganu and Kelantan state. The person who posses wau that is superior in design and flying height will be the winner.

electric car

Opel’s Flextreme concept car, which makes its premiere at the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt (September 13 – 23, 2007), boasts the body of a dynamic monocab, as well as the completely new environmentally friendly E-Flex electric propulsion concept and a host of innovative details. In contrast to conventional vehicles and hybrids, GM’s E-Flex system uses an electric motor, powered by a lithium-ion battery, to propel the Opel Flextreme concept for up to 55 km of electric-drive-only range. A 1.3 turbo-diesel onboard engine generates additional electricity to replenish the battery and extend the vehicle’s driving range fully charged, the Flextreme’s 55-km all-electric driving range is enough for most daily commuters in Europe to travel without using any diesel fuel or emitting any CO2.

FashiOn
Style expert Alison Deyette was kind enough to provide the following tips.

Wear clothes that fit. Stop wearing baggy jeans and pants that hang halfway down your backside or pants lengths that drag along the ground. Find clothing that fits your body shape and doesn't appear boxy, oversized or too tight--all of which are unflattering. High school is hard enough, why not try to look good?
With low rise here to stay, look for t-shirts that cut longer in length. Nobody needs to see your belly in math class, especially if it's not flat. And with Britney Spears so OVER, it's time we stop dressing like her.
On a teenager's budget you have to search for the best bargains and capture the trends without spending all your cash. This Fall, look for hoodies, fitted corduroy jackets, jeans in every style from dark denim washes to ones with worn holes, vintage, washed t-shirts with logos to layer over long sleeves tees and the bohemian look is still strong for girls.

the secret life of an anaconda
Anacondas in the wild spend most of their time hanging out in rivers hunting for their food. They are solitary creatures that are somewhat shy and not many of them are easily seen. They are very well camouflaged in the swamps and bogs in which they thrive. There are some historical reports of early European explorers of the South American jungles seeing giant anacondas up to 100 feet long and some of the native peoples of the South American jungle have reported seeing anacondas up to 50 feet long. No one has caught and measured an anaconda anywhere near that size. It is important to note that when a dead anaconda's hide or skin is laid out it can be stretched very easily, expanding to much longer lengths than the snake exhibited when alive. Reports of outsize anacondas that cannot be verified are usually due to distortions in perception, or a snake skin being disproportionately stretched and inaccurately measured. People are generally really bad at estimating length, especially for larger snakes. In fact, the larger the snake, the larger the margin of error.

Acehnese Tsunami Refugees In Malaysia to Return Home
JAKARTA, Sept 6 (Bernama) -- The deportation of 24,000 Acehnese tsunami refugees in Malaysia to Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) province will be conducted in stages, Indonesian news agency, ANTARA, quoted the Indonesian foreign ministry spokesman as saying."The Indonesian government hope their deportation could be carried out in stages until the end of this year," Teuku Faizasyah, the spokesman said here on Friday.
Previously the number of Tsunami victim card holders reached 30,000, and some of them had already gone home, he said, adding that there are still 24,000 of them in Malaysia.Earlier, NAD Governor Irwandi Yusuf had asked the Malaysian authorities at a meeting to extend the staying permits until 2010.The Aceh provincial administration is not ready to receive and accommodate all them in a too-short period, he said.
The Aceh provincial administration would continue contacting the relevant Malaysian authorities to explain that Aceh's economy had not yet fully recovered from the impact of the 2004 tsunami and that the refugees would therefore be facing hardships if they come home too soon, The Aceh deputy governor was quoted as saying. He said that the Indonesian embassy in Kuala Lumpur had prepared the passports for those going home.
In addition, job providing firms in Malaysia could also make a recommendation to the Malaysian government to provide the Acehnese refugees a staying permit in Malaysia.Thousands of people perished and went missing in the devastating tsunami which hit most of the western Indonesian province on December 26

migraine headache
Migraine pain has been called indescribable, yet 35 million Americans know it all too well. Migraine is the French derivation of the Greek word hemikrania, meaning “half a head,” referring to the typical pattern of migraine distress which is the pain only on one side of the head, most often at the temple. The affected side can vary from one attack to the next or during a single episode.
The pain ranges from moderate to severe. Unlike tension headache, migraine headache can keep you from sleeping or rouse you from sound slumber. Most people describe the pain as pulsating or throbbing. It can also be sharp, almost as if a dagger is piercing your temple or eye.
Nausea and vomiting are common during a migraine headache. Likewise, tense head, neck, and shoulder muscles can accompany a migraine headache. In most cases, this is thought to be an involuntary response to the pain, rather than its cause (although tight muscles can trigger a migraine headache). Bright lights and loud noises worsen the pain and may push someone with a migraine headache to seek out quiet, dimly lit places. Similarly, smell may aggravate nausea and cause vomiting.

foods you should be eating
1. Protein. In May early results were reported for the multipart study called "Diogenes" (a name created by combining the words diet, obesity and genes), which is being funded by the European Community. Researchers split 205 people who'd lost weight on a fixed diet over two months into five groups, each eating a different kind of diet, to see which group did the best at keeping the weight off. The results: participants who ate more protein were least likely to regain the lost pounds. (A diet focused on low-glycemic foods, such as diabetics follow, didn't work as well.)

2. Nuts. Although they are high in calories, research suggests that nuts help keep people thin. In one study with more than 8,000 participants, at the University of Navarra in Spain, people who rarely or never ate nuts gained slightly more over two years than those who munched on them at least twice a week (the results were adjusted for risk factors for obesity). Another study, at Loma Linda University in California, found that overweight women lost weight over six months when they were given almonds to eat and otherwise ate as they chose. Nuts contain mostly unsaturated fat, especially monounsaturated fats, which raise "good" cholesterol. They tend to be filling and may push the body to burn more fat, says Dr. Leo Galland, author of "The Fat Resistance Diet" (Broadway, 2005).

3. Fruits and Vegetables. Women who consume five or more fruit and vegetable servings daily are more likely to maintain weight loss than those who eat fewer servings, according to the Centers of Disease Control. (How much is a serving? It's about a half cup of cut-up fruit, berries, or nonleafy vegetables, one full cup of leafy veggies or one medium-size whole fruit.)

4. Berries. As you enjoy your daily servings of fruit, don't forget berries. Research at Doshisha University in Japan suggests that anthocyanins, the flavonoids that give berries (and other plant foods) a red, blue or purple color, alter the activity of genes found in human fat cells. In a separate study in which mice were fed anthocyanins, researchers found they didn't gain weight, even when they were given an otherwise high-fat diet that would typically plump them up.

BLOOD

Humans can't live without blood. Without blood, the body's organs couldn't get the oxygen and nutrients they need to survive, we couldn't keep warm or cool off, fight infections, or get rid of our own waste products. Without enough blood, we'd weaken and die.
Here are the basics about the mysterious, life-sustaining fluid called blood.
There are two types of blood vessels carry blood throughout our bodies:
The arteries carry oxygenated blood (blood that has received oxygen from the lungs) from the heart to the rest of the body. The blood then travels through the veins back to the heart and lungs, where it receives more oxygen.
As the heart beats, you can feel blood traveling through the body at pulse points like the neck and the wrist, where large, blood-filled arteries run close to the surface of the skin.

The blood that flows through this network of veins and arteries is called whole blood, and it contains three types of blood cells:
1. red blood cells (RBCs)
2. white blood cells (WBCs)
3. platelets

pollution??
Environmental pollution is contamination of air, water and land from man-made waste. Pollution leads to depletion of the ozone layer, global warming and climate change. Air pollution is the release of chemicals and particles into the atmosphere. Water pollution includes surface runoff, leakage into groundwater, liquid spills, wastewater discharge and littering. If toxins are spilled on the ground or if an underground storage tank leaks, soil can become contaminated. Well known contaminants include herbicides and pesticides. Toxic waste is waste material, often in chemical form, which pollutes the natural environment and contaminates groundwater.

The next day,the participants, Whittier, and his assistant Ms. Clark are all driven to an abandoned theatre. There, Whittier locks all of them inside the theatre, telling them they have three months to each write one story before he will allow them to leave. In the meantime, they will have enough food and water to survive, as well as heat, electricity, bedrooms, bathrooms, and a clothes washing and drying machine provided.
They live under harmless conditions at first. They decide to make a better story of their own suffering inside the theatre, and thereby become rich after the public discovers their fate. They then begin to individually sabotage the food and utilities provided to them, each one trying to only destroy one food or utility to slightly increase the drama of their stay.

way to make better decisions
You have to limit your options first because more choice makes more demands on your information-processing skills, and that makes situation becomes complicated. This happened because you are confusing to take which one is the best for you besides it also wastes your time.By the way, greater choice increases the chances of making a mistake,so you may feel less satisfied because of a fear that you've missed a better opportunity..Think first before act..

p/s:Even in situations when a choice seems far too important to simply satisfice, try to limit the number of options you consider.

Also seized in the 8.30pm incident were 17 water monitors and 11 pythons, said East Coast Marine Police Intelligence Unit chief Deputy Superintendent Mohd Hassan Hashim.

He said 12 personnel, led by Assistant Commissioner Mohd Saleh Mat Jani, found the animals packed in 72 plastic containers and 40 wooden crates.

Mohd Hassan said when met at the Kuantan Marine Police Base, here, yesterday, that authorities believed the cabin had been used as a store for the exotic animals before they were smuggled.

"The cabin was located 4km from the main road to prevent their activities being detected."

Mohd Hassan said the animals were protected under the Wildlife Animal Protection Act 1972.

The animals were handed over to the state Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan).

Abu was run from his hostel; Ali still has his family problem. His parents were divorced. While Sofie will continue her study to oversee and Adii still chatting to find her partner in internet maybe. This story have sad ending because Abu died. He was stabbed by Boy. When try to save Ali, his best friend. Abu died while on the way to the hospital. Ali and Lynn feel guilty about that. I like KAMI very much. For this movie, I give five stars. Hope all people will watch it..hehe…

ART LESSEONS

This article tells us how to get art lessons and its advantages. There are several of ways to get an art lesson. An art lesson can be taken privately, as a group, and even via the internet. For privately, there are individual artist who offer private lessons so they will come to you to teach you about art. Usually, this lesson will be at your home. While these maybe more expensive but you sure gain much knowledge from them. Besides that, you can sign up for an art lesson at local arts and craft store, museum and at any community centers. You also can take the lesson at any larger library and the fee is minimal because they are normally funded by a regional art endowment.
The advantages by taking this class is you can improve your knowledge and skill in art. An art have many type such as drawing, painting, ceramics, stained glass, origami and so much more. This activity also can reduce your stress. You also can enjoyed it with your family by bring them together and spend a few hours learning, creating and having fun. An art lesson usually lasts from one to three hours, and can be incorporated easily into even the busiest of schedules. This lesson is not only enjoyable for adults, but children also like them. It allows them to express themselves, allows the brain from regiments of the often-dreaded reading, and lets the children create something tangible that they can be proud of. For my opinion, we should try an art lesson because it has many advantages to us. Let’s join an art lesson…

DO you cough? Do you bring up phlegm? Do you get breathless? Do you wheeze?

If the answer is yes to any of the questions above, then you may be suffering from undiagnosed respiratory disease.

More than 80 million people in China will die in the next 25 years from respiratory disease.

Smoking is prevalent. You only have to look around you.
Tobacco smoke damages your lungs through direct inhalation (active smoking) and indirect exposure (passive smoking).

There is also concern about the under-diagnosis of respiratory disease and lack of public awareness of symptoms and treatment.

This article will focus on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) which is one of the major causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide.

What is COPD?

COPD primarily encompasses two related respiratory conditions known as chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Persistent airway inflammation features in chronic bronchitis and this leads to coughing, phlegm production, breathlessness and wheezing.

Lung tissue destruction occurs in emphysema causing the organ to lose its natural elasticity. As a result, air becomes trapped in the lungs when the airways collapse during exhalation. This leads to hyper-inflation of the lungs.

Oxygen delivery from the lungs into the bloodstream is also diminished. This is because the tiny air sacs in the lungs become enlarged and are no longer able to function properly.

Symptoms

They tend to set around your middle 30s. Symptoms are gradual over time. You may not notice anything amiss until a problem may be at hand.

You may notice that you get a little breathless when climbing stairs or have difficulty keeping up with your contemporaries. You cough quite often or bring up thick phlegm, especially when you wake up in the mornings.

You may even hear yourself wheeze on occasions. You may find that you are unable to gain weight. Perhaps, you are losing weight without dieting or exercising. Pay attention to these symptoms as they may be pointing towards an underlying respiratory disease such as COPD.

The topic that i want to share with you is Laser Breath Test....The book said that the Scientists from National Institute of Standards and Technology and the University of Colorado at Boulder have found some method on how to detect the molecules that cause the disease by blasting breath with laser light.....

The new test, called optical frequency comb spectroscopy, is work based on the biological theory....The book said thatthis technique has the potential to be low-cost, powerful and rapid enough that doctor maybe able to screen for disease simply by sampling patients' breath....

GEORGE TOWN: Stormy weather wreaked havoc in various parts of Penang, causing a landslide in Paya Terubong and rough seas along Pantai Bersih in Butterworth.

At Tingkat Paya Terubong 2, tonnes of earth came crashing down a hill onto the grounds of the Taman Terubong Jaya apartments where over 1,000 residents were staying.

The landslide, which occurred during heavy rain at about 2.45am yesterday, caused the retaining wall to collapse and turned the apartment car park into a muddy waterway.

At least two cars were buried under the earth while gushing water from the hill shifted at least four other cars from their parked position.

People have always associated balloons with children, parties and all things merry.

But in reality, they actually pose a great threat to wildlife and the environment.

There are two major types of balloons -- foil and latex. Foil or "mylar" balloons do not biodegrade and will litter the environment for years to come. The latex balloons are made out of natural rubber and are biodegradable.

Normally, latex balloons are released instead of foil balloons. Though they are biodegradable, latex balloons still pose a threat to the environment in many ways:

- Released balloons can be carried by the wind hundreds of kilometres away, ending up in land and sea, in their intact or shredded forms. An experiment by Andrady (2000) showed that balloons in salt water deteriorate more slowly than those on land. It takes up to 12 months or more for the balloons to lose their elasticity. These balloons end up as litter on water and earth surfaces.

- Balloons that end up in the sea will be mistaken as a food source such as jellyfish by marine life. They have been found in the digestive tracts of many sea turtles, dolphins, whales, sea birds and other animals.

Deflated balloons can block animals' guts when ingested or the animals can become entangled in the strings or ribbons attached to them, causing a slow and painful death from starvation.

Considering the threats balloons pose to the environment and wildlife, we are calling on all to celebrate or commemorate events in more environment-friendly ways, such as using them in other creative manners without releasing them, or simply planting a tree.

that it about the ballons.

A straw poll of handphone users found that many are happy that Mobile Number Portability (MNP) has been introduced. MNP allows users to switch cellular service providers without having to change their cellphone numbers.

Entrepreneur Lydia Yong Li Ying, 25, said she sees MNP benefiting mobile phone users around the country because it will encourage telcos to regularly improve their cellular services in order to retain customers.

“I like my current number so having the option to switch telcos while maintaining the number is a great convenience,” she said. “I also believe that having a healthy competitive environment in the telco industry will go a long way in improving telecommunications services.”

Another cellphone user, Sim Han How, 24, agreed with Yong. “MNP doesn’t make much of a difference to me because I’m happy with my current service provider,” he said. “Still it’s nice to know that I can keep my number if I decide to swap providers.”

“I suppose MNP will keep telcos on their toes since people can now switch (service providers) more freely if their expectations are not met,” said Sim, an IT specialist.

MNP is available to both prepaid and postpaid service users. Customers who change operators may be charged up to RM25 each time by the new service provider.

Energy, Water and Communications Minister Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor, who officiated at the launch of MNP this week, said the service is a great convenience to the 20.6 million prepaid and 4.6 million postpaid users in the country.

“Users will no longer need to go through the hassle of informing family and friends of a change in their mobile number,”

presentation
hello...

as usual we have a presentation in our english class. on that day, we have to present how to make something. our group, sinchan's group are present about how to make a recycle paper. what i think about this presentation are very bad and worse. ot is because we have not prepare anything to present. the slide that we have done, we just copy and paste and we did not edit the text. although we think it is very easy to present but it is quite difficult because we did not prepare anything that can we use on that day. so, we just read the text on the slide without understand anything and the result is very bad. we did not use the true presentation skill.

the other group present about origami paper, how to make chocolate cake and muffin and and how to make a small box. their presentation are more interesting than our group presentation. i feel so bad but it is not the end. i still have time to fix it in the next semester. that is all.

exhibition
hello everyone...
assalamualaikum...

i am really happy because everything has been done, our test, our quiz and our project. the thing that i want to talk about is about our exhibition last week. this exhibition is about we need to present our product to other people and we have to convince them that our product is the best among the best.

my group have decided to sell a washing machine. it is sound too funny but we have done it well. the brand our washing machine is samsung and we choose that product because it looks very exclusive and elegant. it feature very perfect and we think that it is suitable for housewife and our mother to use it.

the other group present the roomba or robotic vacuum. it is very cute and easy to use it.but this product not too much in malaysia and i hope that one day our country will produce this product also. beside that, the other group sell desk lamp, iron, bicycle, spectacles and so on.

this exhibition give confidence to us to talk in front of other people and it improve our communication skill in english language and build our confidence in ourself. beside that, it make our relationship between the member are close because we have to cooperate and make discussion about the product that we have to sell. so i think this exhibition help me more and build my confidence.

Quiet Emotions
by Judy Burnette
I always wanted more from you
than you were willing to give;
So now we've gone our separate ways
each with different lives to live.

The bond will always be there
the friendship always intact;
But the time for us has come and gone
and the pages of time, you can't turn back.

I will always be a friend to you
and wonder how you are;
The smiles and laughter I will remember
and our fights have become painless scars.

Sometimes on those busy days
when you've a thousand things to do;
Please let me glide slowly through your mind
and spend some time with you.

In that quiet moment
when you're surprised to find me there;
Just remember even with the distance between us
I am still someone who cares.

this poem about my feeling about my friends. this poem is very meaningful to me because i think that this poem related with my life. this poem remember me the memoy when i still in secondary school and we are always together, whatever we do and we are so close more than friend. i am really miss them. i hope that we are always together till the end.

chocolate
Hi, everyone....today i want to talk about chocolate. I know that everybody like to eat chocolate and we also know that it is very delicious.

we are probably looking at the title and thinking there couldn't possibly be any benefit to eating chocolate. Chocolate is so delicious, smooth and creamy. It's been described as one of life's sinful little pleasures. Can anything this wonderful be good for you?

Dieters can keep chocolate in their diets by just working it into their total calorie count. The average chocolate bar is 250 calories.

The bottom roller is usually can be found in variable colour such as light yellow or black. The bottom roller also made of from proper heat treated body to produce optimum performance of the machine and life time seal and lubricantion which were thoroughly checked by compressed air on each roller to ensure a perfect sealing. The minor part of bottom roller is the hydraulic cyclinder, which is also can be called a linear hydraulic motor that have used to give a linear force through a linear stroke.. what i know this part very important in excavator because the excavator only can walk with it..
