What kind of presenter am I? E03

Having presented in an impromptu speech, how did you evaluate yourself as a presenter? How have your friends and group members evaluated you? How do you feel about the evaluation? Are they justified? Post about your strengths and weaknesses as a presenter based on the feedback you got.

Assalamualaikum Madam Raha and all who read this comments…
I think I’m the first person to comment about this activity… I evaluate myself as a moderate presenter which means I do can talked in English but my English is too simple for University’s student like us and a little bit weak in grammar… Besides, I use to pause too often because I’m too nervous so all things I have in mind mixed up and make me felt confused to speak it out…
My friends evaluated me as fluent (I don’t think so!) and cool (they didn’t know how nervous I’m that time) presenter. I’m quite surprised when they evaluated me like that because I thought they will say that I’m a bad presenter or maybe unorganized presenter… I said this not because I’m not confident but that time I lack of ideas to talk about the topic I got…
Based on the feedback I got ~~
Strength ~~ syak – good English and good eyes contact…laila – fluent… bai – good eyes contact and confidence… farah – keep it up girl!.. Syazreen – well organized, cool and good English.. (hee~~ thanks girls)
Weakness~~ fiza – make idea flow well, pronunciations and vocabulary… syak – lack of ideas… farah – lot of ‘aaa’…. Syazreen – low voice and lot of ‘aaa’… (hee~ thanks again)
I think my post is long enough... heee~~
THANK YOU ALL FOR WASTING YOUR TIME READING MY COMMENTS…

First of all, I don't think I'm a good presenter. I consider myself as very bad, someone who doesn't know how to express herself and I tend to forget everything when standing in front of the class to speak. To me, the evaluation was very useful. It let me know about my weaknesses, what audiences think about my presentation and most importantly I get to practise more and try to improve from my weaknesses.

These are the comments about my presentation from my group members:
a) Strengths: many points, good eye contact, confident.
b) Weaknesses: poor evaluation, 'ah' a lot, not enough time to present

just want to share with all of you,to me,be a presenter is just like a nightmare!i still can remember what i've done in my secondary school.i got nervous when my teacher called me to stand in front of my classmates.but now,i think that we need to be brave and try to do it because what is important now is that we have to build up our confident.so,i do hope that i can be just like my fellow friends and i really need your support!!

“Don’t worry, I know I can do that!”
Have you ever given confidence to yourself? Yes, absolutely I did it! I have never thought that I am a good speaker or presenter, because I realize myself vividly, there are too many weaknesses existed when I am going to present.
Sometimes, I still feel bit nervous or even tremble my both hands when I am going to present, but I think I have my good way to minimize all these cases.
“Don’t think too much, just do my best way to satisfy myself, there is no any regretting after, I hope.” I try to tell myself ones again. Do my best now, try to speak out all the relevant views and opinions from my mind. A excellent presenter, may be in one day I would be…

In this session, I can see many mistakes from my fellow friend. Even me myself do many mistakes. The common mistakes is the problem in grammar and confident. Some of my group is not confident with themselves and cannot elaborate their points well. Grammar mistakes tend to happen because of all of us sometimes forgot the terms used in english.
I'm quite worried about all my classmates because their quite afraid to comment their friends.Maybe they quite afraid to make their friends hurt. Just comment your friends. This is for your friends. All of us can accept the comment. We are quite open to accept the comment.Thank you...

I was born not to be a presenter, that is the truth. I pretty nervous standing in front of audience...moreover, while the moment I have a point to speak, its make me thinking for a new point after a previous point...so, in these case, we can look that my brain is overlapping to thinking a lot of point in a period..But.It happened while I felt nervous....

So,in the future I will improving and fix it become much better...

Salam..

For this activity, I figure out that I can speak almost fluently in english but of course there are some weakness. 1 of my weakness is lack of idea. With a short period of time to think about the point that I have to speak, I think that I not enough skill of that fast thinking. I think I must improve my skill of thinking. I think I can manage that and just need some time to practice for that. Anyway, thank you to Madam Raha for that interesting activity. That's all, thank you.
