I've read many articles on beauty and health recently. One of the readings is on the exotic beauty from Africa which is the black soap. Also known as anago soap, this traditional black soap is 100%made of natural ingredients. Ash of locally harvested barks, palms tree leaves, cocoa pods, shea tree bark and plantain are among the ingredients used in making the soap. It is said that this black soap is good for thinning fine lines, help to even out dark spots on skin, eliminate blemishe as well as body odour. However, this 'magical' is not that practical for all users. It is because people who are hypersensitive to caffeine may not be able to use this product as it contains cocoa pads. Nevertheless, this black soap is indeed a good choice for infants as well as to the elderly.

This One From My Recent ReadIngs...

"Deep inside an underwater cave in Mexico, archaeologists may have discovered the oldest human skeleton ever found in the Americas.

Dubbed Eva de Naharon, or Eve of Naharon, the female skeleton has been dated at 13,600 years old. If that age is accurate, the skeleton—along with three others found in underwater caves along the Caribbean coast of the Yucatán Peninsula—could provide new clues to how the Americas were first populated."...

I've read J.K Rowling's Harry Potter books lately. And i'm finding them very good. Especially Harry Potter : Order of The Pheonix. The plot and conflict is so magnificient. It even makes me wonder what will happen next eventhough we knew that Harry Potter wont die. Although this book was released long time ago, I found it still interesting. Apart from the difference of the movie itself from the novel, the author succeeded in making the char coming to live. Thumbs up for J.K Rowling

When I went back to my house a few days ago, I’ve found an old story book. It was my older sister’s when she was in secondary school. It was ‘The Elephant Man’.
The story is about a man who’s born with a hideous looking face (actually was a deformity). He was mistreated while scraping a living as a side-show freak. Most of the people were horrified just by looking at his face. He never sleeps like a normal person. He sleeps sitting with his head resting upon his knees, as the weight of his skull would cause a fatal constriction of his windpipe. A doctor, if I’m not mistaken, saw him and took a good care of him, treated him a human being and not an animal. A few things happen, The doctor discover a person of intelligence and sensitivity in the 'elephant man'. For once, he wanted to be like the rest of us… he slept like the rest of us, lie on our bed. The weight of his skull was too much. He broke his neck and died. That's how the story end.

I want to share about one of the articles that I had read in the newspaper. This article written by Malaysia Pediatric Association.
Dengue fever is a fever that is transmitted by the Aedes mosquito, the vector that transmits the dengue virus.
Dengue is spread from one person to another through the bite of this mosquito which occurs in the day time. Dengue fever often occurs in areas where the virus is prevalent and the mosquitoes breed.
The fever usually lasts three to seven days and in the course of it, red rashes may appear. Dengue fever is dangerous because the patient can bleed and become weak very quickly.
Refer to a doctor immediately when fever is prolonged, appearance of red rashes around the face and body or dengue cases have been reported in your residential area.
Mosquito fever is a critical disease if we do not take it as a serious matter...thank you..

In the history of the world, little Pauline Musters is the smallest mature woman ever recorded. Pauline is currently listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as having stood only 1 foot 11.2 inches in height.

Born on February 26, 1876 in Ossendrecht in the Netherlands and Pauline Musters succumbed to illness on March 1, 1895 in New York and the world lost its smallest but greatest miracle.

"I'm Sorry, Could You Repeat That?"

I went deaf in one ear quite suddenly 12 years ago. I spent hours lying on my side with ear drops, trying to dislodge the blockage that was somehow in my right ear.
I did this in a blur of fatigue as I had just had my first child. Just my luck to get a dodgy ear at such an awkward time, I complained to my doctor i?? who instantly made the connection. My problem wasn't earwax but otosclerosis. I hadn't heard of this, but learned it is one of the most common forms of deafness in young women and often develops during pregnancy.
Ordinarily the tiny bones in the middle ear i?? the malleus, incus and stapes i?? conduct sound from the eardrum to the inner ear. With otosclerosis a spongy over-growth of new bone fixes the stapes in place, stopping the vibrations.
About ten per cent of all adults are thought to be affected to some degree; 60 per cent of cases are genetic and run in families, but pregnancy hormones can accelerate the process. In past decades...

This article is actually give the inside out of otosclerosis which can results in Chronic conductive hearing loss (CHL). To know more about the background details, information on risk factors, diagnostic and treatment methods of otosclerosis,do get a copy of February 2006 edition of Reader's Digest..

I just finished reading CLEO magazine (September edition) few minutes ago and one of the articles that I most engrossed with is “I Cut Myself” by Stephanie Osfield. This article reveals everything about the self-harm (SH) or self-injury (SI) that occurred tremendously among teens and women nowadays. Unsurprisingly, most people who engage in SH start cutting themselves in their teens and some keep up the habit well into adulthood. It is so awful and pitiful to know how people would have the ‘guts’ to cut themselves repeatedly in order to release their intense emotions and the sake of getting extra attention. I would dare say that these individuals are “totally insane and demoralize”. However, I’m not going to put all the blame on the cutters themselves and judge them on their “extreme” actions. That’s because studies shows that more than half of all people who self-harm have been physically, sexually and emotionally abused. It is very unfortunate for them to face all the problems themselves and having an unsupportive environment definitely going to make things worst. However, there are still plenty of healthy and safe ways on battling life’s problems. The healing process may take time but it is definitely worthwhile than latter, regrets for the rest of the life. I recommend the readers especially teenage girls to read this article because it gives very good tips on how to deal with self-harm sufferers if your besties happened to be one of them.

i want to share some tips about how to get a fabulous photo captured..

1st-from the National Geographic rule,to produces a magical look with gorgeous golden light and beutiful shadows, take photographs 15 minutes after sunrise and 15 minutes befora sunset....

2nd-do not take a photo with sunlight coming over your shoulder because the result is,the subject look flat and boring..so,snap the picture with light hitting your subject from the side so it can emphasise the subject better and add texture to the photo..

3rd-a busy background makes the subject lost in it..so beware if you want to capture photo with people at the back..but if the background has attractive patterns, reflections, or contrast of light and dark ,it can work to your favour for eye-cacthing photos..

4th-to make your photo more attractive, drawing three imaginary vertical lines and imaginary horizontal lines to divide the photo area..so you will achieve right spatial balance..

that's all..

Novel:Okane Ga Nai (No Money)

Ayase Yukiya is a university student whose cousin Tetsuo Ishii betrays and sells in an auction to settle his heavy debts. Ayase is bought by Somuku Kanou for 1.2 billion yen.

The reason behind Kanou doing this is Kanou remembers Ayase from four years ago, when Ayase, a stranger, helped him. Now Kanou wants to keep Ayase close to him in order to protect him, and uses the 1.2 billion debt to force Ayase to live with him. As Ayase is still a student and does not have a job, he is forced to be a servant for Kanou to pay his debts.

This is a novel that i have read recently and it is still ongoing. Honestly, this kind of story not really suitable for under aged because the plot of the story kind a explicit sometimes but i really enjoyed reading this novel. I just read the translation one because i'm not good in Japanese.
That's all.

Wish....

What to wish
What a wish
I lived the wish
That I couldn’t wish for
Comfort on frustrating days
Smiles when sadness intrude
Patience to accept the truth
Courage to know myself
Confidence for when I doubt
Faith so that I can believe
Friendships to melt my heart
Hugs when spirit sag
Beauty for my eyes to watch
Rainbows to follow the clouds
And love to complete my life.

But what would I wish for
Would I wish to dream
As if I’ll live forever
Or live as if I’ll die today
Would I wish to live
Or to love first and live incidentally.

And to wish is to risk pain
For everything I have wished
That I gained something
But for everything I gain
I lose something.

Life is full of wish
I noticed it
Which is a way of holding on
To the things I love
To the things I am
The things I never want to lose
Because one day somehow
My life will flash before my eyes
And I am to make sure
It’s worth wishing.

To Sarah Schapira's colleagues it's become a running joke. Every half hour or so the pretty 22-year-old PR gets up from her desk and makes a dash for the ladies.
But she isn't suffering from an embarrassing medical condition, the reason for her regular absences is hardly a mystery - every day she downs seven litres of water.
"My argument has always been that water is good for you and helps you to detox," she explains.
"We've all been told about the benefits of water, so I drink lots and lots of it, from the minute I wake up to the minute I go to bed."
"If I don't have my bottle of water I feel paranoid,' she says. "And if I try not to drink for an hour, I start to feel dehydrated and I get throbbing headaches.
"But it has got to the stage where I don't know how to give it up. It used to make me feel really good and healthy but not any more. I know I ought to cut down but I'm not sure how I can."

Based on the symptoms, Sarah is non other than; an "aquaholic". We've been told that healthy lifestyle includes the eight-glasses-water per day and this rule is in fact really helpful and is proven good for our health. The more, the better. However, the excessive consumption of water can lead to a condition known as hyponatraemia, which consequently lead to complications such as convulsions, coma and even DEATH. How tragic isn’t it..?
The popular belief that was practiced unconditionally by most of the people who really concern about their health is indeed a 'lethal weapon'. There are so many shocking and unexpected facts on aquaholics and the drinking habits that we could never possibly imagine. To feed your curiosity, do visit this website and be surprised by the truth..!

Are Geisha Prostitutes?

i have read this article..sounds interesting..for your information, geisha are not prostitutes..Because they entertain men behind closed doors in an exclusive manner, there has been much speculation about the underpinnings of their profession..Although a geisha may choose to engage in sexual relations with one of her patrons, geisha engagements will never involve sex..Occasionally, a geisha may choose to take a danna (an old fashioned word for husband), which is typically a wealthy man who has the means to support a geisha mistress..Although a geisha may fall in love with her danna, the affair is customarily contingent upon the danna's ability to financially support the geisha's lifestyle. The traditional conventions and values within such a relationship are very intricate and not well understood, even by many Japanese. Because of this, the true intimate role of the geisha remains the object of much speculation, and often misinterpretation, in Japan as well as abroad..

I found this interesting website called dreammoods.com which is a free one-stop dream portal that let us explore and discover meaning to our dreams. One of the common dreams is test/exam dreams which I had dreamt few days back. According to this site, the dream that I’m taking an exam indicates that I’m being put to the test or being scrutinized in some way. Such dreams highlight my feelings of being anxious and agitated. And in the same dream, I was late for the exam and could not complete the exam in the allowed time which then contributes to the factor of failing the test. This dream usually has to do with self-esteem and confidence or my lack of. I am worried that I’m not making the grade and measuring up to other people's expectations of myself. I may also experience the fear of not being accepted, not being prepared, or not being good enough. I feel nervous, insecure and tend to believe the worst about myself. Surprisingly, almost the entire of interpretations are true and did reflect me in a way. This website did help in making sense of one’s dreams and achieves better understanding of the dreams.

I read an article on thestar.com.my on a super talented professional drummer named Arthur Kam. What differs him from any other world-class drummer is that he’s still a secondary school students (he’s 17) with a very outstanding achievements in his field and all of this he had achieved way before he can legally drive. The biggest accomplishment that he made so far is when he was named as the Winner of Modern Drummer magazine’s worldwide Undiscovered Drummer Contest in the 18-and-under division. He also both a Malaysian as well as national record holder for youngest person to complete a professional drum course (aged 10 years 11 months). Once called as the ‘God of Drums’ by Jacky Cheung, Arthur had performed with few of well-known local artistes such as Siti Nurhaliza, Jaclyn Victor, M.Nasir as well as International Artistes include World-renowned drummer Akira Jimbo, American Idol house drummer Teddy Campbell, Sadao Watanabe and Jacky Cheung. His passion and talent in music in undoubtedly remarkable and all of his hard works was all worth it and has made him what he is today. It is such a relieved to finally get home and get cling on the September’s edition of Reader’s Digest. There are many articles I have read on this latest edition of RD and almost everything caught my interest. One of them is in the Heroes section titled “A voice for the disabled” by Chan Li Jin.

“ We don’t want sympathy, just equal opportunities..” As to fight for the rights of other disabled Malaysians, Gurdip Kaur had encountered many obstacles on continuing her life as disabled individual including being sacked from work. She then met her husband, who was also left wheelchair-bound by a car accident and they started Independent Learning&Training Centre (ILTC) to teach disabled people cooking, sewing and other practical skills for free. Their fight had put into great test when the Department of Social Welfare threatened to close the centre due to Siva’s blunt assessment at the Disabled People International Convention in Japan. He said that disabled Malaysians were treated like caged animals. However, after he presented his case, the government agreed to new rules regarding the facilities for the disabled at government buildings and public places. To the extent, I believed that their hardships were paid off. Get a copy of October’s edition of Reader’s Digest to read more on this inspiring story.

“ Why do other people hear our voices differently than we do? “

We listen to a tape recording of ourselves talking with some friends. We insist the tape doesn’t sound at all like our voice, but everyone else’s sounds reasonably accurate…

According to the speech therapist Dr Mike D’Asaro, there is a universal pattern of rejection of one’s own voice and this includes some medical explanations. When we speak, we are not hearing our voice solely with our ears, but also through internal hearing, a mostly liquid transmission through a series of bodily organs. Sounds transmits differently through the air than through solids and liquids, and this difference accounts for almost of the tonal differences we hear on a recording of our own voice. This fact is taken from the Reader’s Digest September Issue.

There is news I read from newspaper recently. It is about 2 secondary students hit their teacher. These students are girls. I can't believe they kick their teacher in the class. The teacher scolds them because they didn't pass up their homework. This is their fault, how come they hit their teacher. It is ridiculous. I hope I didn't see this kind of news on the newspaper again.

The booked started out werid and then ended with a spectacular bang the reason that it ended with a bang is that i never expected it to end like it did. The middle of the book was very intresting because there where a whole bunch of mysterys that had to be solved and some of them were unsolve able. Harry and his freinds are into a lot of mischief it seems like every year and this year is no diffrent. Harry has a huge mystery that he discovers about himself and he has to get to the bottom of it no matter how hard or long it takes.

It was also a crazy book because his blind date calls him up and talks to him and tells him that she is his blind date but won't tell him her name or how she knows him but she tells him that one of his friends knows her and that’s how she knows him. She told him to pick her up from her house at a 7 the next night and they would go out and eat dinner. The guy tells his dad because his dad is a cop and gives him very good advice when it comes to these types of things. His dad tells him to go on the date because what’s the worst that can happen? I read a blog on "Love" the other day and I found it to be kinda intersting that makes me wanna share.
It says that love is a feeling that is very pure that comes from heart that is given to us.But we are the one who made it to be misjudge until it it caused us to do wrong things.
Love means a feeling that is within every human being who wants to be love and protection from danger. It doesn't mean a love from a girlfriend to her boyfriend but from a bigger scope.
it ends with a quote.
"LoVe=We think about it,dream about it,lose sleep worring about it.When we don't have it,we search for it and we have discover it,we don't know what to do with it.We fear of losing it.It is our source of pleasure and pain but we can't actually predict which will it be from one moment to the next.It is a short word.Easy to spell, difficult to define and...
impossible to live without".

SIMPLE WAY TO EASE NECK PAIN

Do you know that doing your own physical therapy can help ease neck pain. By bending at the hips, allowing your arms to dangle towards your feet and your head without tension. As you breathe slowly in and out gently swing our head from side to side to loosen the neck. You'll become aware of the joy that lengthening these muscles can offer. Bend your knees as you slowly come back to a standing position.
Come on friends try this exercise. I'm sure that it can help most after you are tired doing your revision for final exam...

8 Chemo Nutrition Tips
ive read these...
Ask experts what are the best foods to eat during cancer treatment and you’re likely to hear a round of weary sighs. “What you’d love for me to say is, ‘The real secret is mixing ginger, cinnamon, and tofu and it’s going to make you feel wonderful,’” says Dr. Eric Winer, Chief Scientific Advisor for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. “But the truth is there aren’t any magic foods.” Eating a low-calorie diet rich in vegetables, fruits and other plant-based foods is just as important in sickness as it is in health.

But for patients undergoing cancer treatment, there are days when physical and emotional challenges make appetites nonexistent and food wholly unappealing. “A registered dietician is your best ally in alleviating that,” says Sheri Knecht, registered dietitian on call for the South Atlantic Division of the American Cancer Society. “They’ll ask probing questions to figure out what your needs are and be able to give individualized assistance depending on what you’re going through.”

10 Immunity Boosters

Studies show that green tea—infused with the antioxidant EGCG—reduces the risk of most types of cancer. "The phytonutrients in tea also support the growth of intestinal bacteria," says Bowerman.

"Specifically, they inhibit the growth of bad bacteria—E. coli, Clostridium, Salmonella—and leave the beneficial bacteria untouched." Why is this important? "Because up to 70 percent of your immune system is located in your digestive tract," says Susan Bowerman, assistant director of the Center for Human Nutrition at the University of California at Los Angeles. "Four cups a day will keep it functioning at its peak."

The Things That Make Us Happy

Happiness is stubborn; hard to find, difficult to augment. Circumstances under our control (employment, education, money) account for only about 10 to 15 percent of our "subjective well-being," the technical term for how good we judge life to be. Happiness is largely due to personality traits and temperament; the torments or glories of fate don't make a huge difference in how we feel. When it comes to subjective well-being, "you don't get a big bang out of the real world," says Alex Michalos of the University of Northern British Columbia.

But if you're determined to optimize that 10 to 15 percent that's in your control, our happiness fact list offers a few clues that are based on multiple studies.

Hint: Enjoy the little things; being pleased frequently has more influence on well-being than being intensely happy once in a while.

ONE OF THE FOODS TOUGH TO DIGEST

Fried chicken nuggets

Anytime you take a food, dip it in batter and then deep fry it, you turn it into something that can be a bit hard on the gut. Fried foods inevitably are greasy and high in fat, both of which spell trouble for the stomach. If you already suffer from inflammatory bowel disease, greasy foods are especially problematic and can cause symptoms like nausea and diarrhea, says Tara Gidus, a dietitian in Orlando, Fla. To make a healthier version, take frozen chicken nuggets (or use your own breadcrumb batter on chicken breasts) and bake them, rather than fry.

The advice to forgo fried for flavorful alternatives is also helpful for other traditionally greasy snacks, like potato chips. To get the crunchy, salty sensation of chips without the unfortunate side effects, look for baked versions of potato chips or switch to low- or no-fat snacks like pretzels, air-popped popcorn or soy crisps

ONE OF THE Secrets of the Effortlessly Thin
THEY DONT DIET!!!
Or at least not in the traditional, all-or-nothing, deprivation sense of the word. "You need to get rid of that diet mentality and realize that what you are doing is making a permanent lifestyle change," says Anne Fletcher, M.S., R.D., author of the Thin for Life book series. She adds, "You do have to cut back on calories if you want to stay thin, but it's about reassessing what you eat and being more sensible in your choices, not about a quick-fix, crazy diet." Research has also shown that thin people tend to have a better quality diet than those who are overweight. They eat more fruits and vegetables and more fiber, and drink more water—all healthy things that provide more food volume for the number of calories.

The Honda Civic Hybrid is engineered to provide amazing performance and excellent fuel consumption.

This is achieved through an electric motor installed between the engine and the transmission. It engages as you accelerate or go uphill, boosting engine power until you reach cruising speed. The motor then adds necessary additional power to accelerate. However, at low speed cruise, the car runs on power from the motor alone. As you raise the acceleration, the engine switches to a higher power output and the motor provides a stronger, powerful acceleration.

When it decelerates, the IMA battery will be in recharge mode.

Meanwhile, all the electric power created by the electric motor will be stored in a compact battery box that is called the Intelligent Power Unit. It controls the electricity to and from the electric motor.

The Vitamin C

Vitamin C is purely the L-enantiomer of ascorbate; the opposite D-enantiomer has no physiological significance. Both forms a mirror images of the same moleculer structure.

In humans, vitamin C is a highly effective antioxidant, acting to lessen oxidative stress, a substrate for ascorbate peroxidase, as well as an enzyme cofactor for the biosynthesis of many important biochemicals. Vitamin C acts as an electron donor for eight difrent enzymes.

Scurvy is an avitaminosis resulting from lack of vitamin C.
Scurvy leads to the formation of liver spots on the skin, spongy gums and bleeding from all mucous membranes. The spots are most abundant on the thighs and legs. Person with the ailment looks pale, feels depressed and is partially immobilized.

Finally, we must have extra Vitamin C in our body. Vitamin C can be get from lemon, nitrus and any sour fruits. It is good for our health.

My Favourite Band.

Linkin Park is an American rock band from Agoura Hills, California. Since their formation in 1996, the band has sold more than 50 million albums and won two Grammy Awards. They achieved mainstream success with their debut album, Hybrid Theory, which was certified Diamond by the RIAA in 2005. Their following studio album, Meteora, continued the band's success, topping the Billboard 200’s album charts in 2003, and was followed by extensive touring and charity work around the world.

Recognized for their adaptation of the nu metal and rap rock genre into a radio-friendly yet densely-layered style in Hybrid Theory and Meteora, the band moved away from this and explored a variety of other genres in their latest studio album, Minutes to Midnight. The album topped the Billboard charts and had the third best debut week of any album that year. They are also known for their several collaborations, most notably with rapper Jay-Z in their mash-up album Collision Course, and many other artists on Reanimation.

Until now i like them...

Feelings To...

The word feeling has several possible definitions. The word was first used in the English language to describe the physical sensation of touch either through experience or perception. The word is also used to describe physical sensation apart from touch such as "a feeling of warmth". In psychology the word is usually reserved for the conscious subjective experience of emotion. Phenomenology and heterophenomenology are philosophical approaches that provide some basis for knowledge of feelings. Many schools of psychotherapy depend on the therapist achieving some kind of understanding of the client's feelings, for which methodologies exist. Some theories of interpersonal relationships also have a role for shared feelings or understanding of another person's feelings.

The Great Pyramid of Giza, also called Khufu's Pyramid or the Pyramid of Khufu, and Pyramid of Cheops, is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza Necropolis bordering what is now Cairo, Egypt, and is the only remaining member of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It is believed the pyramid was built as a tomb for Fourth dynasty Egyptian King Khufu (Cheops in Greek) and constructed over a 20 year period concluding around 2560 BC. The Great Pyramid was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years. Visibly all that remains is the underlying step-pyramid core structure seen today. Many of the casing stones that once covered the structure can still be seen around the base of the Great Pyramid. There have been varying scientific and alternative theories regarding the Great Pyramid's construction techniques. Most accepted construction theories are based on the idea that it was built by moving huge stones from a quarry and dragging and lifting them into place.

There are three known chambers inside the Great Pyramid. The lowest chamber is cut into the bedrock upon which the pyramid was built and was unfinished. The so-called Queen's Chamber and King's Chamber are higher up within the pyramid structure. The Great Pyramid of Giza is the main part of a complex setting of buildings that included two mortuary temples in honor of Khufu (one close to the pyramid and one near the Nile), three smaller pyramids for Khufu's wives, an even smaller "satellite" pyramid, a raised causeway connecting the two temples, and small mastaba tombs surrounding the pyramid for nobles.

Protein is probably one of the most important parts of the diet for human and many mammal. For BODYBUILDER, they consume 2 gram of protein per pound of body weight is ideal, some suggesting that less is sufficient, while others recommending 2.5, 3, or more for every meal.(1 set protein + 2 set carbohydrate meals) We can see their body like monster crushing machine, apart from that, they are monster eating machine too! e.g. one's man weight 250 lb x 2.5g = 625g (plus carbohydrate 625 x 2 = 1250 g ) That mean the total they must ate for one meal 1825 g @ 1.825kg! is they must consume at least a whole chicken, what a man!

Parkour(the art of movement)is an activity with the aim of moving from one point to another as efficiently and quickly as possible, using principally the abilities of the human body.It is meant to help one overcome obstacles, which can be anything in the surrounding environment from branches and rocks to rails and concrete walls and can be practiced in both rural and urban areas.Parkour practitioners are refered to as traceurs, or traceuses for females.
This art was founded by David Belle in France. It is practicing one's to develop mind and body to overcome obstacle in an emergency.
In Malaysia, there are three student have develop this art. They trained at a small park just next to the Putra Mosque in Putrajaya.
Parkour gives you strength in all three areas - physical, mental and spiritual. The traceurs obviously physically fitter, but also have to be mentally strong to challenge yourself the way traceurs do with parkour. And in terms of spirituality, traceurs are always mindful that the essence of parkour is to do good, that traceurs pushing ourselves to be better individuals.

How to know if he/she is a liar

1.Body language

The physical expressions of a liar may appear to be stiff or limited. It is typical to see less hand and arm movement. The liar will try to withdraw into their own space.

A liar will often try to avoid eye contact. There of course may be other reasons for this response too and people with experience in a bi-cultural or multicultural setting may come across this trait without it being an indication or otherwise of honesty.

Another point that is often referred to in the literature on this topic is the tendency of someone who is lying is put their hands up near their face. Perhaps they will touch their throat or mouth, scratch their ear etc.

2.Reactions and method of interaction.

Someone who is lying will be uncomfortable when they have to face the person asking them questions or accusing them of a lie. Often this will translate into a person turning their body or head in a different direction.

It is also the case that a person who is lying will get very defensive. A person who is telling the truth will be more likely to attack or go on the offensive.

Liars may try to put physical barriers between them and the accuser. This may translate into the unconscious placing of an object, such as a piece of furniture, between themselves and the person who they are lying to, or they may cross their arms.

liar or "liar"??

Do you know about World War 2??

World War II, or the Second World War, was a global military conflict which involved a majority of the world's nations, including all of the great powers, organized into two opposing military alliances: the Allies and the Axis. The war involved the mobilization of over 100 million military personnel, making it the most widespread war in history. In a state of "total war", the major participants placed their complete economic, industrial, and scientific capabilities at the service of the war effort, erasing the distinction between civilian and military resources. Over 70 million people, the majority of them civilians, were killed, making it the deadliest conflict in human history.

The starting date of the war is generally held to be September 1939 with the German invasion of Poland and subsequent declarations of war on Germany by the United Kingdom, France and the British Dominions. However, as a result of other events, many belligerents entered the war before or after this date, during a period which spanned from 1937 to 1941. Amongst these main events are the Marco Polo Bridge Incident, the start of Operation Barbarossa and the attack on Pearl Harbor and British and Netherlands colonies in South East Asia.

The Soviet Union and the United States emerged from the war as the world's leading superpowers. This set the stage for the Cold War, which lasted for the next 45 years. The United Nations was formed in the hope of preventing another such conflict. The self determination spawned by the war accelerated decolonization movements in Asia and Africa, while Western Europe itself began moving toward integration.

OUR FRAGILE EARTH

For the forth article, I would like to talk about Earth. So, in an article that I have read, Earth is a tremendous planet with waters, ideal temperature, landscape shaped by severely erosion, rainfall and water – streams and now its environment is severely threaten with the rises of temperature, of course it causes catastrophes to the earth. The rises of temperature are mainly caused by the increasing of the percentage of carbon dioxide in the air and consequently causes the ice-melting of the poles that can speed up the rises of the sea level, lowering the sea temperature that maximize the heat – absorbance and causes the longer colder winter and higher temperature of summer.
In my opinion, these are need to be stop and the best ways can be carry out are by lowering the greenhouse gas, carbon dioxide by 70% at today’s rate or our next generation will pay the higher price for the way we live today. And also we need to start planting more plant from now on to increase the oxygen.

How solar power works.

A solar tower is a device that converts solar thermal energy (heat from the sun) into electricity. Solar towers are used for large-scale power generation.
Computer controlled mirrors (called heliostats) follow the sun, adjusting their position as the sun moves, and reflect sunlight toward the top of the solar tower, where a heat collector tank is located. Of course, more than one heliostat is needed, so an arrangement of hundreds or even thousands of heliostats is used.

The combined reflected sunlight of these heliostats is capable of producing temperatures as high as 550 degrees, Celsius at the focus point.

Thus, the liquid inside the boiler is rapidly heated and is then pumped downward into storage tanks, or is pumped directly into to a heat exchanger where it is used to make steam.

The steam produced by the heat exchanger is then led through a steam turbine, which uses the steam to generate electricity.

As an interesting note, liquid sodium can be used as a heat transfer/storage liquid, because of its ability to hold and store heat efficiently. Large storage tanks can be used to hold the heated liquid sodium. The stored "heat" can then be used at night, so as to continue generating steam which is used to generate electricity.

Currently, there are two solar towers in operation using the above design. The 64 MW Nevada Solar One and 11 MW PS10 solar power tower in Spain.

Solar tower energy is categorized as CSP (concentrated solar power) technology. There are several other power plant designs which use concentrated solar power technology. This includes the parabolic trough and the solar dish engine.

The article above give a new knowledge to me about solar tower power. The solar tower function to converts solar thermal energy into electricity in large-scale power generation. The main parts in this solar power tower is the heliostas.Heliostats is the computer that controlled the mirror which follow the sun.The mirror will move as the sun move and reflect the sunlight towards the top of the solar tower. The solar tower contain a heat collector tank inside it.The combining of the reflected sunlight will produce a high temperature and boiled the liquid inside it rapidly. Then,it is pumped into a heat exchanger and led through a steam turbin and the steam are used to generate electricity. In addition information, the liquid sodium can be used asa aheat transfer because of its ability to hold and store heat efficiently. As conclusion, from this article i can conclude that one of the source in produce electricity is solar power tower.

Lost on buying laptop?
Here are some tips...
• Don't be seduced by super-fast processor speeds unless you're running graphics, intensive applications such as games or design programs.
• If you want to watch DVDs on the move, buy a laptop with an internal DVD drive. An external drive could be a nuisance if you travel a lot.
• Buy a spare or higher-capacity battery for when you're not near a plug socket.
• Be prepared to pay extra for software. Even the basic Microsoft Office is absent from many packages.
• Due to their rough life, laptops are more prone to failure, making it vital to back up data: a second, external hard drive makes this easier.
• Uploading digital pictures? You'll need a memory-card slot.
• Buy a decent and hardy laptop bag to protect your computer.

Sharpen Your Brain With a Good Lie Down...

Ever been caught short on a creative idea? Can't think of that niggling last answer in your crossword puzzle or even what to cook for dinner? Here's a hint: put your feet up and lie down - being a couch potato is great for boosting our brain and our creativity. So says Dr Darren Lipnicki from the school of psychology at the Australian National University, who conducted research on how neurotransmitters are released. He tested 20 people, who were asked to solve 32 five-letter anagrams, such as "osien" and "nodru" while standing and lying down. His findings? We are smarter and more creative lying down than standing up. It seems less of the neurotransmitter noradrenaline is released to the brain when you're horizontal, so your creative thinking isn't as impaired..
